No Honda plant thanks to Ryan
With that said, I would like to know where favorite son Paul Ryan was in striking a deal with Honda. After all, he is the Representative for the 1st Congressional District of Wisconsin, which was the area under consideration by Honda. As our rep in Washington, he certainly is not exempt from representing us when it comes to attracting thousands of jobs to southern Wisconsin counties. Where is the Gazette story explaining Ryan’s work on this deal?
In a twist of irony, at least Gov. Doyle was mentioned by the Gazette although not in a good light. But most people don't focus on what was NOT printed, so of course readers will only remember what was. Where was Ryan? My guess is, he’s too busy shilling for George W. Bush in the House to even show up on this issue. He’s got better things to do.

Doyle deserves to get bashed. He is ethnically challenged. Wisconsin is a tax hell. Why should a big company locate here?
Maybe Honda should have gave Doyle's re-election campaign a bigger donation. Doyle can be bought.
Wisconsin was a tax hell well before Doyle became it's Governor. Republicans have nothing on him but to insinuate wrong doing. His opponents and the press need to take a look at the county and committee boards who decide on the grants, if they suspect bribes. If challengers would talk about the issue's, they lose.
Wisconsin is the third highest taxed state in the union. Doyle isn't statisfied with that. He wants to be number 1.
Where is Paul Ryan? Here's a guy who actually receives dirty(proven) money and then says he can't give it back because the money is spent!! Never mind he's got millions in his campaign chest. Ryan is tool for Bush, and Green is just as bad if not worse. These guys brag about their work and support for the worst president of all time. We don't need their kind in Wisconsin government.
