Feingold votes for free speech

On Tuesday, June 27th, The Channel 3 WISC 9:00 AM TV News in Janesville, Wisconsin reported on the flag amendment that failed in the Senate. They said Wisconsin Democratic Senator Russ Feingold voted against the amendment, which is true. However, regarding the amendment, the news programs focused only on the Feingold vote and not the senators that voted for the failed amendment was classic right-wing slant. The news anchors displayed a negative tone of blame towards Feingold, sort of a "oh my gosh, how could he support flag burning" when indeed passing this amendment would have been desecration of our constitutional rights. The senators who voted for this amendment need to go back to school and read the Constitution and the history of America. I'm ashamed that this amendment almost passed. Russ Feingold should be commended for his support of free speech and what the American flag stands for, not for the colored piece of cloth that it is.
