New For 2018: Wisconsin State "Map" Art - Blue.To.The.Bone.

Inspired by the recent "Blue Wave" movement and gains made by Democratic and Progressive candidates at the polls in Gov. Scott Walker's red state Wisconsin, a light bulb turned on and I went into action on my paint board to draw up a new Wisconsin "fist" map for blue state supporters.

Dubbed, "Blue to the Bone," I think you'll agree it serves as a good reminder to our commitment in solidarity to never give up the fight defending Wisconsin's blue heritage - no matter how red they've gerrymandered our state.

You will find a nice selection of political T-shirts and gear emblazoned (unframed, transparent background) with the new design at the Rock, Net and Roots store.

Check it out!

We need to work hard in this next year to challenge the status quo, and if we do, we will see good results toward something better. It all doesn't happen at once, but it truly takes votes for anything to happen.

I commend your ideas to promote positive change (the blues musical form really points to a better world), and did you hear that Paul Ryan was paid $500k after by Charles Koch after he lowered the Koch taxes (instead shifting those taxes onto people like you and me)?

Let's turn around this nonsense turn of events this November.

Few people want to admit Walker and Lady Hendrick$ turned Wisconsin red, but they did. The red in your artwork is very fitting in that regard and can carry a different meaning for others.

I keep looking at it ...it's a beautiful piece. Well done!
