Invite Dale Schultz To Wausau Parade

Wausau Daily Herald Excerpt:
Marathon County Labor Council President Randy Radtke confirmed Monday that no Republican lawmakers are welcome to participate in the organization's Labor Day parade -- a departure from procedure in previous years. [...] The Republican politicians in our area don't side with us, but now they want to make it look like they're on our side."

The Wausau Mayor said the Marathon County Labor Council violated the non-partisan provision of the contract, but who is he to dictate the decision without due process? Proper public notice used to be a huge legal requirement in Wisconsin. I guess that's all changed now with Walker and the Republicans since they have turned everything political and partisan in Wisconsin.

Parade organizers should invite state Senator Dale Schultz (Richland Center), the lone republican to vote against Walker's union-busting bill. That would prove it's not a partisan issue and likely satisfy the non-partisan provision in the parade/city agreement.

oh for pete's sake - due process. If public money is used for this (which was not said before) then you can't go around excluding people OR give up the city financial contribution. You Democrats/labor guys are gonna just look really bad if you persist. There will be blowback at a time when you are still trying to look like choirboys for that damn recall.
Due process....omg *eyeroll*

"there will be blowback"

What? Instead of exterminating organized labor in 2 years, you'll get in done in one year, 11 months and 18 days?

Due process....omg *eyeroll*
Disrespectfully yours,
