Frank Glick, an amateur photographer, took this photo at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. When he recorded the shot, he never could have guessed how much it was going to mean to the widow of the World War II veteran buried there.

Nice pic but it looks photoshopped. Look closely at all the shadows and look just to the left of the eagle.
Yeah, zoom in on it. Hard vertical edge on right with mismatched pixels. Blurred tail. Shadow too short on ground.
Definitely a fake ... nice thought. I wish it was real. Might be a recreation of a scene the guy actually witnessed, but it's also extremely rare for an eagle to perch so low to the ground.
It's still a nice photo. I just find for being taken in the summer, wouldn't there be more green on both the trees and lawn? Also, I'm not sure those are shadows but maybe freshly cut grass between the rows of graves instead of shadows. So why would the eagle have a shadow if nothing else does? Still, it's a nice image.
