When Rep. Paul Ryan had a chance to stand up and stake a economic recovery claim for his district, his constituents heard him loud and clear.

On Wednesday, they heard a voice. But instead of saying, "I will fight for you," Ryan said: "Drop dead." Congress is a compromised and often disappointing institution. But it has no more shameful member than Paul Ryan.
Ryan voted for the trickle-down Wall Street Bail-Out and then leads the charge against the bottom-up Main Street Recovery and Re-Investment Act. This is living proof Paul Ryan represents Wall Street, bankers, insurance companies and Big $$$ fat cats in the U.S. Congress. That he also happens to be our congressman is our tough luck.
