Kerry's Botched Joke

This is what he should have said:

George W. Bush has disrespected our soldiers by sending them unprepared into a deadly war that seems to have no just cause or end. I have always supported the troops and I continue to support the troops. I was telling young people - get an education. You don't want the military to be your only option, because it's not smart to put your life into the hands of someone like Bush.

Maybe he should have. Truth is he didn't. John Kerry mister comedian himself. I'm not sure what kind of joke that is that you posted. Your sense of humor seems to be just as dull as Kerry's. Kerry has made a career out of disrespecting the military. This guy was the democratic challenger for president. Calling the troops uneducated. It's pretty sad that he has gone out and said this stuff to the very men and woman who he autorized to go to Iraq. Shows his support real well. Waht a clown.

Jimdaddy, I guess you hadn't heard that a most people signing up are poor kids who, by definition, don't have the priviledges and opportunites that keep them from considering the military as an option. I wish the world was how you think it is but it's not.

mamat most soldiers are highschool graduates or even college graduates. They are special people that want to serve their country. What he said isn't an excuse. These people are fighting for our freedom and for anybody to trash them is wrong.

John Kerry is a true liberal military basher. He has made a carrer out of bashing soldiers in the military. He continues today and now he makes an apology on the internet. That's a spineless attempt to make ammends. The true is he feels that way about our troops and he has proven again his hatred towards the military and the troops that serve in the military. But, that's who he is. I'm just glad he isn't the commander and chief of the military.

Kerry stands up for the soldiers, not the president. Every bit of it is true. Its crazy, people support a man who cut and ran from his own military objections, put over 2,800 Americans in harms way and botched a war. Bush calls the soldiers deaths "just a number" and fumbles over the english language daily. But they are going to jump all over Kerry for this one line. Get a grip!

John Kerry was in the military to better his political carrer. Nothing more. He has made claims that our soliders tortured vietnamese people. He has made that statement recently about our soliders going into Iraqi homes and torturing Iraqi people. How can you defend this guy? Kerry is an elitist who deserves to be raked over the coals for his comments against the soliders. Bush did his time in the reserves.

I wonder how many soldiers are in Iraq now to better their political careers, assuming they get out alive?

If the torture and rape reports are true, whats wrong with defending the truth. So far, from all reports our troops are doing a great job despite poor direction and a few bad apples.

Not acorrding to John Kerry they aren't.

Is that how the right-wing looks at apologies, as a spineless attempt to make amends? No wonder why we will never hear one from Bush.

LOL John Kerry was supposed to be the commander and chief of the milatary and then he says stuff like that. And this guy is suppose to be smart? The lefties can't defend this moron. Try all you want to spin it but, he said what he said. Bush has never demoralized our troops the way Kerry has.

If the democrats were at all smart they would stay away from Kerry. The more he talks the more he shows what the new democratic party is all about.

Lou Kaye said...

LOL? Kerry? Bush is the laughing stock of the world and if that were the worst thing about him, I could accept that. But Nooooo.

Yeah the laughing stock that's why Syria gave up it's nukes because they thought Bush was a joker.

Lou Kaye said...

Do you really believe countries are giving up nukes because they fear Bush? To the contrary, countries are arming themselves and "nuking up" more now than ever before in defense of the possibility that our president may get some wrong intelligence and begin a pre-emption attack. This is the new reality created by Dubya himself.

No I just think Syria gave up it nuks because they wanted to. They know this President means business does what he says he is going to do. Countries use nuclear weapons for one reason to show power. To show other countries not to mess with them. This "new" reality that you taught isn't new at all. They didn't just create these technologies in the last 6 years.

John Kerry is what democrats stand for. It's clear that he doesn't like the military or the soldiers. He wasn't going to apologize for his remarks. He mada a half ass apology three days after he said those terrible remarks. Then he only had to write it on his website. He didn't even have the decentcy to say it in person. Whoever voted for this guy should be real proud.

Bush put over 250,000 soldiers in harms way for no good reason. Kerry is not the president, his poor choice of words just bring home hard truths to Bush and his supporters. I'm more concerned and shocked by what the president says. Get over Kerry.

Anonymous said...

Kerry's choice for poor words is just the reason why he shouldn't be commander and chief EVER. Bush did the RIGHT thing by taking the threat seriously. Taking Saddam seriously. It was Saddam's choice. All he had to do was comply with the UN resolutions. Why comply when your making money hand over fist with the oil for food scandal. He just figured Bush was like Clinton and wouldn't do anything to him. He was wrong.

Lou Kaye said...

What was the threat? Saddam survived as long as he did based largely on the bluff, thats how their culture is. There was nothing...absolutely nothing Saddam Hussein could have done to satisfy our president except to abandon his country to stop the bloodshed.

You know, that oil for food scandal would not be a scandal if he was dealing with Bush. That is a sad fact. The no-fly-zones were a very cheap price to pay considering what the Bush alternative was.

Another fact is, the rest of America won't accept the realities of this war until the Republicans say so. That is the problem right now. The evidence of a failing war is everywhere. They are preparing to cut and run and working on ways to do it without looking like it.

Kerry is a disgrace. His comments show what kind of person he really is.

John Kerry the liberals choice who almost stole the election. Talking shit about the military again. When is this idiot going to realize the troops don't support him the same way he doesn't support them.
