Citizen testifying at the hearing on the state mining bill says committee is corrupted with large pay-offs from special interests and cites the proof. Their response? "You need to write a letter to the editor."
Out of curiosity, does anyone who attended know who is, and what position is held by the gentleman wearing the red/white/blue WI lapel pin and ID badge sitting directly behind the hearing witness. I'm thinking a security or sargent-at-arms ready to pull the microphone or otherwise intimidate citizens testifying.
I don't know off-hand about the person with the state badge, but this video has an almost surreal quality to it that I would expect in an Mel Brooks black comedy. It's just amazing that the entire scene and the response to her testimony is reality.

Surreal in that Tiffany and his cohorts are not listening to anything now, so what sense does it make to them to have any more hearings.
