No Love For Teacher Calling Hotdog a "Wiener"

The religiously insane Janesville puritans are at it again. This time, they've projected their own sexual hang-ups onto a teacher working the school picnic who said, "want a wiener?" while holding a hotdog with grilling tongs toward an employee's plate. They filed a complaint.

The teacher has been reassigned jobs as the result of an investigation.

So I take it that when the Gazette uncovers a wrong you happen to agree with, it's okay then.

The Gazette is far too selective on what it reports. It leaves out far more than it should and just down right doesn't write about things it doesn't agree with. Biased news from biased editors that hide behind self importance. Thumping their chests as the righteous community watchdogs they do the community a great disservice by not presenting all the facts, just the ones they want you to know or the ones their "friends" want you to know.

Anonymous 4:25 It's not okay without knowing or publishing the full story. The half story does a major disservice to those involved.

Anonymous 5:03, you took the words right out of mouth. The only other thing I'd like to see is the quasi-private/public newspaper industry and the Gazette particularly, hold themselves to the same privacy standards they expect from the public sector and open their HR records and company emails for all to see. If they did, most of them would be resigning in disgrace.

Instead, they lobby lawmakers to grant them publishing immunity and other extraneous rights regarding sources and secrecy.

That's not to say public employees are above the law. They should be held accountable for fraud and other serious criminal or sexual behavior. But this "investigation?" It's a watchdogging farce to say the least.
