Read This Before You Buy/Sell Home

Want to watch the value of your home plummet in a single keystroke? Are you having trouble selling your home and wonder why? Are you looking to buy a home and want to know if a released sex offender lives nearby?
JG Sound Off Excerpt:
Regarding a Web site for sex offenders, a really good one is at familywatchdog.us. You can go on there and it will pop up a map and show everyone in your area. You can zoom in and out. Please educate yourself. -- Anonymous

SCARY!!!!!!!!!!

What is even more scary is that third party lists like that are not complete and accurate. There is no listing for Janesville's most recently well-known offender. (Think about what happened about a month ago.)

For a more accurate list, visit http://offender.doc.state.wi.us/public/

If these people are dangerous they should never be released and if the goal is rehabilitation their id's should never be published. Why should I live in fear because the state is knowingly releasing dangerous criminals. Awareness is great, but their is something seriously wrong with its intentions.

So we should just not know about these animals and we should just never ask where they live? That's just plain stupid to even say. I would rather they publish thier names and addresses so I can be prepared and look out for these animals instead of not knowing and have another murder or something happen. At least I would know where they live and if something happens I can point the finger at them.

I worry more about people NOT on the list. You don't have a problem with the state releasing animals like this? as long as they tell you they're next door?

I have a problem with those people living next door to me. Of course I do. I believe these animals should be casturated then released into the public.
